By placing an order with Mikee's Cake Studio, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. They may be updated periodically.

Orders must be placed through our official website or Custom Cake Order Form
All cakes require a 7‑day lead time for preparation and delivery. Available dates are shown at checkout.
If your desired date isn’t available, email us at orders@mikeescakestudio.com – we sometimes have room for last-minute orders.
A $20-$30 rush fee applies for any cake needed within one week of the requested pick-up date.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. If we need to change or cancel an order, we will try to notify you using the email/phone provided.
Cake photos on our Order Forms and Instagram (@mikeescakestudio) are our creations. You may choose an existing design or request a custom one with a theme or inspiration photos.
If you miss your pickup slot, you may need to reschedule for the next available day, subject to availability.

No exact replicas: Reference photos are for inspiration only. We respect other cake artists and will not fully replicate their designs.
Colors: We match colors as closely as possible, but due to lighting and screen variations, exact matches are not guaranteed.
Dark colors: Requesting dark or deep colors may require extra coloring droplets, which could slightly alter the taste.
Materials: We specialize in Swiss meringue buttercream and do not use fondant. We may decline orders involving plastic figurines, fresh flowers, or other materials not offered by us.
Customer-supplied toppers/decorations: Please hand them to us at least 7 days before pickup. If a topper is unstable, we will not attach it – you must add it at the event location. Let us know in advance if bringing a topper.
All submissions are final. Changes to orders increase the chance of errors. Please do not order until you are 100% sure of design, colours, message, and size.

All prices are non-negotiable and subject to change without notice.
Final price depends on design difficulty, toppings, and add-ons selected.

Full payment is required to confirm your order.
Payment must be made within 48 hours of order confirmation to secure your booking.
Credit & Debit Cards Accepted
If you miss the required payment date, do not send payment without messaging us first to confirm date availability.
Exact pickup address is provided once payment is confirmed.

Orders placed through our online store are prepared specifically for your selected pickup or delivery date. Because production planning, ingredients, and scheduling are arranged in advance, cancellations are subject to the following policy:

More than 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date: Cancellations are permitted and will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee.
Within 7 days of your scheduled pickup or delivery date: Orders are considered a late cancellation and are non-refundable. The full amount paid will be forfeited.
Order changes: Once an order has been placed and payment has been received, changes to the order—including flavour, size, design, pickup or delivery details, and other selections—cannot be guaranteed. This policy helps prevent production errors and confusion in the bakery.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and order-change policy.

Changing Your Order Date:
We understand that plans can change. If you need to move your pickup or delivery date, please contact us in writing as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date; however, all date changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that changing your order date does not automatically constitute a cancellation. If we are unable to accommodate the requested new date and you choose to cancel your order, the applicable cancellation policy above will apply.

Order Changes:
Any changes requested within 7 days of your scheduled pickup or delivery date are subject to availability and may not always be possible to accommodate.

Major design changes requested within this timeframe may also be subject to an additional design or redesign fee. Any applicable fee will depend on the size of the cake, the extent of the requested changes, and the amount of additional work required. Fees are assessed at our discretion.

We will always do our best to accommodate changes whenever possible, but we cannot guarantee that last-minute requests can be fulfilled.

For custom cake orders booked or paid through an invoice, full payment is required to secure your order and scheduled pickup or delivery date. Your order is not confirmed until payment has been received in full.

Because custom cakes are made specifically for each customer and require advance planning, scheduling, and preparation, the following cancellation policy applies:

We want every customer to be happy with their cake and will always do our best to create an order that meets the agreed-upon design and specifications.

Please note that refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction with the cake's design, colour shade, styling, or general decoration when the order has been created according to the agreed-upon details.

If you have concerns regarding the flavour or quality of your cake, please contact us as soon as possible. Any refund or compensation request related to flavour or product quality will be reviewed at the discretion of our team.

For quality-related concerns, the cake or product may be required to be returned for assessment. We are unable to provide refunds for cakes or products that have been partially or fully consumed.

By placing an order with Mikee's Cake Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable cancellation, change, and refund policies outlined above.

Our cakes are nut-free (except Dubai Chocolate flavour). However, we are not a nut-free kitchen – cross-contamination is possible.
We do not offer gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, or vegan options at this time.
Exception: Our Dubai Chocolate flavour contains pistachios, sesame, and soy.
We do not cater to allergies. Clients are responsible for disclosing allergies when ordering and for informing guests. Mikee's Cake Studio is not liable for allergic reactions.

Once the cake is handed over to the customer (or third party), Mikee's Cake Studio is not liable for any damage.
Store cake refrigerated until consumed. Remove from fridge 1‑2 hours before serving for best taste.
For transport: place cake on a flat surface or footwell (not on a car seat, which is sloped). Avoid direct sunlight and sudden driving changes.
If fresh flowers are used on the cake, their safety is the florist's responsibility, not ours.

If someone else collects the cake on your behalf, they assume full responsibility for the cake’s condition until it reaches your event. We are not liable for damage caused by third-party negligence or mishandling after pickup or delivery.

Delivery fee: $1 per kilometer plus $10 flat service fee. A quote will be included in your invoice.
We deliver within Calgary and surrounding areas, including Airdrie and Chestermere. We do not ship to other cities or provinces.
A delivery quote will be automatically calculated at checkout when you place an order through our website. If you're submitting a Custom Order Form instead, we'll provide a delivery quote along with your order estimate.

We reserve the right to use images of any cake we create for future publication (website, social media, portfolio, etc.).

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers and internal systems that help us operate our website, fulfill orders, communicate with customers, and provide customer support, including communications through Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
