Mikee’s Cake Studio uses an internal customer-service application called MCS_DISCORD_BOT to manage customer-initiated messages sent to our Facebook Page and Instagram professional account.

Information that may be processed

When you communicate with Mikee’s Cake Studio through Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct Messages, our customer-service system may process:

  Your Facebook or Instagram display name or username
  
• Your platform-specific customer identifier
  
• Your profile picture, if provided by Meta
  
• Messages and attachments you send to us
  
• Message dates, times, and conversation metadata
  
• Responses sent by Mikee’s Cake Studio staff
  
• Internal conversation status and customer-service records
  

How to request deletion

To request deletion of information associated with a Facebook or Instagram conversation, email:

Use the subject line:

Meta Messaging Data Deletion Request

Include:

1. Whether the conversation occurred on Facebook or Instagram
   
2. The display name or username used for the conversation
   
3. The approximate date of the conversation
   
4. A brief statement requesting deletion of your messaging data
   

You may also submit the request through the Contact Us page on our website.

Do not send us your Facebook or Instagram password, access token, or other login credentials.

Verification

We may request limited additional information to confirm that we have identified the correct conversation. We will never ask for your Facebook or Instagram password.

What we will delete

After verifying and locating the request, we will delete or anonymize the reasonably identifiable information associated with the conversation from our internal customer-service systems, which may include:

• Stored message content and attachments
  
• Platform-specific customer identifiers
  
• Display names and usernames
  
• Internal Discord conversation records
  
• 
  Related customer-service database records
  
• Related response-training records, where reasonably identifiable
  

Information we may retain

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to:

• Complete or document an order or transaction
  
• Meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations
  
• Resolve a dispute
  
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  

Information retained for these purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Response time

We aim to acknowledge and process verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will contact you when the request has been completed or if additional information is required.
